EcoTools Holiday Makeup Brushes

BEAUTY_5

The holidays are here and we're all busy attending after-work holiday parties, cocktails with friends, and family gatherings. As we get ready for all of our special events, we all want to look our best. Today, I'm sharing three holiday sets that you can add to your brush collection or give as a last minute gift idea.

The Festive & Flawless Set features five face brushes, this is the set I keep in my makeup bag and take to work.  If I need to freshen up after a long day at the office, I can fill in brows or brighten up my cheeks with a touch of blush. For $14.99, it's a small investment for anyone working 9-5 with a busy social life.  If you don't want to carry around the brushes, you can also store them at your desk.

The  Mini Essentials Holiday Set makes for a great stocking stuffer and is also ideal for traveling.  If you don't want to pack up your larger brushes for your weekend trip home to see family, pack up these petite brushes for brows, eyeshadow and powder.

The last set is the Four-Piece Beautiful Complexion Set, which couples all the essentials for a festive beauty look. You can get a $3 off in-store at Ulta on the Four Piece Beautiful Complexion Set. This self-wrapping set includes a gift tag, ribbon and gift box, making it the perfect preset for every beauty lover.  Here's a look at how I use the brushes

My precious kitten loves being a part of the photo shoot.

This is how I store all my makeup brushes.  I clean out old candles and use them to hold all my brushes.

Below are a few of my favorite makeup items.  I'm a huge fan of the Make Up For Ever foundation and concealer. I have freckles and found that this combination helps conceal any imperfection - without looking like I have makeup caked on my face. Also featuring the Four-Piece Beautiful Complexion Set

Check out this Holiday Tutorial from one of my favorite beauty bloggers, Teni Panosian from MissMaven, to see show you how to use the holiday sets from EcoTools.
Step 1. First, take your Skin Perfecting Brush and apply your favorite foundation.
Step 2. Next, take the Precision Foundation Brush from the Festive and Flawless Face Set and use it to apply your concealer under your eyes, around your mouth, and a bit into the center of your forehead to highlight and conceal.
Step 3. Using the Buffing Concealer brush in this set, begin blending the concealer in small circular motions for flawless coverage.
Step 4. Going back to the Complexion Collection, take the Mattifying Finishing Brush and use a matte bronzer to warm up your skin. Apply at the hollows of your cheeks, along your jawline, and into your hairline for a more sculpted look.
Step 5. Using the same brush, sweep a bit of your favorite blush onto your cheeks to bring a little more life to the look.
Step 6. Take the Full Powder Brush from the Festive and Flawless Face Set and set your makeup with a translucent powder.
Step 7. To add a healthy glow to the look, take the Complexion Blending Brush and dab on your favorite powder or cream highlighter to the high points of your cheekbones, your brow bone, and above the arches of your brows.
Step 8. Taking the Angled Eyeliner Brush from the Mini Essential Set, apply a black gel eyeliner from inner corner to outer corner, creating a dramatic winged eyeliner.
Step 9. To complete the eyes, apply a coat of your favorite mascara to your top and bottom lashes.
Step 10. For an extra festive look, apply a matte bright red lip color.
Step 11. To create a sleek and clean lip look, take the Flat Concealer Brush and apply a tiny amount of concealer at the edge of your lips, creating a clean and crisp edge. Simply blend out the concealer and you’re done!
